Hi, I’m Dr. Mahon. I was raised on the East Coast, and eventually found my way to Portland for post-residency training at the Dotter Institute at OHSU.

My wife and I now live on a small farm outside of Carlton with our three “youngish” kids. Life is full of chores, sports practices, and the beautiful chaos of raising a family—but it’s a joy.

It’s an incredible honor to work alongside a team that pours so much heart and purpose into what they do. Vine is more than just a clinic—it’s a light in the darkness, a place of hope and healing in a world that deeply needs it. I’m grateful every day to be a part of it.

As the Medical Director and Radiologist for Vine, I support the team by reading ultrasounds and offering clinical guidance as needed. It’s a privilege to play a role in helping women feel seen, cared for, and supported—whether they’re navigating uncertainty or simply seeking clarity and reassurance.

Hi, I’m Megann, and I’m passionate about serving moms here at Vine. After spending four months in Uganda working with children with special needs, I returned home uncertain about my next steps. During this time, I began volunteering at Vine and quickly saw how the clinic’s care, compassion, and support made a profound impact on women making pregnancy decisions.

After nearly two years of volunteering, I’m excited to join the staff at Vine Medical as the Administrative Assistant. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role and make a difference in the lives of those who come to Vine.

When you come to Vine, I am the first person who will work with you to get your intake paperwork started. I also enjoy providing each patient and their support person with a thank you gift as they leave our clinic.

Hi, I’m Cindy! I truly love serving in whatever way is needed. On any given day, you might find me answering phones, scheduling appointments, welcoming patients with intake paperwork, or helping keep the clinic clean and organized. I also help track material donation items and work to keep the pregnancy loss garden beautiful. One of the most meaningful parts of my role is being available to pray for and support patients during their time here. It’s a blessing to be part of a team that shows love and care in both big and small ways.

In my free time, I love spending time with my grandkids, playing pickle ball with friends and family, sewing and crafting, and enjoying the great outdoors through biking, hiking, and camping.

Hi, I’m Julie! I have the joy of helping patients who come in to pick up baby items, making sure they feel supported and cared for. I also manage donations—sorting through what comes in, deciding what we can accept (all new items), and creating welcoming displays. To help keep things organized, I track larger items with photos and maintain a book of what’s available, and I also put together Vine’s Amazon Patient Wishlist to make it easy for others to give.

I schedule item pickup appointments and love being part of this process from start to finish. Volunteering at Vine has been a special way to give back to the community that meant so much to my kids as they were growing up. I also serve at the clothing closet at Yamhill Christian Church, and in my free time, I enjoy golfing and riding my bike outdoors!
